Is CBD legal in Ukraine?

Yes, CBD is legal in Ukraine. Three synthetic cannabinoids were made legal for use in medical treatments in 2019 after being approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. THC and CBD are present in these items.

These three are nabilone, nabiximols, and dronabinol. All of these have limited usage and require a prescription. Doctors have rigorous guidelines to follow when writing prescriptions.

 

Is cannabis decriminalized in Ukraine?

Yes, cannabis is decriminalized in Ukraine. In Ukraine, it is now legal to possess up to 5 grams of cannabis in small quantities.

According to reports, people who carry greater amounts of cannabis may not face charges from Ukrainian police, who are reportedly amenable to bribery. However, legally speaking, having more than 60 grams of cannabis in your possession should result in a jail sentence.
