No, cannabis is not decriminalized in Pakistan. The Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 1997 is the main law governing the use, possession, sale, and cultivation of cannabis in Pakistan. This law imposes a maximum two-year prison sentence, a fine, or both for possessing cannabis.

Selling or distributing cannabis also carries a fine, a life sentence in jail, or both. Growing cannabis plants carries a maximum seven-year prison sentence, a fine, or both.
